What is included

  • A uniformed, English-speaking driver for the whole day
  • Fuel, parking and toll roads
  • Chilled water in the car
  • For airport pickups: flight tracking and a meet-and-greet in the arrivals hall, with waiting time for delays included

Not included: entrance tickets, meals and gratuities, unless a journey says otherwise. If the day runs longer than ten hours, extra hours are charged at the hourly rate.

What does a "full day" mean?

A full day is about ten hours, door to door, starting from your hotel or villa. That is enough for a long loop such as Ubud's rice terraces and water temple, or the Uluwatu cliffs and Kecak dance at sunset. Routes are yours to change on the day: the car and driver stay with you, so you can stop where you like and stay as long as you want.

Which car should you choose?

  • Two people on short hops between beach clubs and restaurants: the MINI Cooper.
  • Couples who want quiet and privacy, such as honeymooners: the Lexus LM 350h, with reclining ottoman seats and a privacy screen.
  • Families or up to five guests with luggage: the Toyota Alphard Executive Lounge, our most booked car, or the Fortuner and Pajero Sport for a lower price.
  • Volcano tracks and rough roads: the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon.
  • Groups of six to twelve, golf groups and wedding guests: the Toyota HiAce Premio.

Driver or driver-guide?

A driver gets you safely from place to place and knows the roads. On our private journeys, the driver is also your guide: the day is planned around a route, with entrance tickets and timings arranged, from IDR 3,200,000 per car for a day such as Uluwatu at dusk. If you already know where you want to go, a car with driver is the simpler choice.
