Two unhurried days across the Lombok Strait. A fast boat from Padang Bai brings you to north-west Lombok, where your driver follows the coast road past the Malimbu viewpoint to your hotel. The next morning a private boat is yours for the day between the three Gili islands — snorkelling with green turtles off Meno, lunch on Gili Air and a walk on Trawangan — before the fast boat back to Bali.
