Menjangan Island lies inside the protected West Bali National Park, where calm, clear water and steep coral walls make it one of the best snorkelling sites in Bali. Drive through the clove hills and terraces of Pupuan to the north-west coast and spend the night in Pemuteran. The next morning your private boat leaves Labuhan Lalang with a park guide for the reef walls, a visit to the island's temples and Rusa deer, and lunch before the drive home.
